Located on a tree-lined street a few steps away from “Les Gobelins” metro station, this functional hotel is set in the 5th arrondissement, 1.2 km away from the National Museum of Natural History and 1.5 km away from the Pantheon.

  • What are the hotel’s opening hours?
    We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • What do I need to check in when I arrive?
    Your booking document and your ID papers.
  • At what time may I collect my room key?
    Guests are expected from 3 p.m. onwards. If you wish to arrive before then, you can leave your baggage with the receptionist and enjoy your day.
  • At what time must I free the room?
    Guests must hand in their key at 11 a.m. at the latest on the day they leave. You can leave your baggage with the receptionist and enjoy your day worry-free.
  • My flight is at 5 p.m. the day I leave: am I able to enjoy my room until then?
    A late check-out is possible only when booking an extra night since our housekeepers and room attendants will no longer be at the hotel to ensure a cleaning service in the late afternoon.
  • I am arriving at the hotel early. May I collect my room key as soon as I arrive?
    An early check-in is possible depending on availability only and at an additional cost. We cannot guarantee it. If it is one of your requirements, we recommend you book the room a day early.
  • I am arriving very late in the evening. Up to what time is the availability of my room guaranteed?
    Your room is guaranteed for a late arrival. If you are arriving late, please email Reception. If we do not hear from you and as from the next morning, your reservation will be marked a no-show, cancelled and your card will be charged. Postponing a booking is not possible.
  • What if I do not wish to pay additional fees for an early check-in or a late check-out?
    We have a baggage service, our lounge is there to make you feel welcome or you have the option of touring the city and collecting your baggage until very late in the evening!
  • May I leave my baggage at the hotel?
    Yes, we can safely store your baggage in our locker on the day you arrive or leave. If you wish to leave your baggage for several days, you will be charged a 5€ fee per day and per baggage.
  • May I park my bicycle or kick scooter at the hotel?
    Yes, we can look after your bicycle or kick scooter in our inner courtyard. You will be charged 10€ per day.

    Yes, you can get a food delivery. Eating inside your room is, however, forbidden. The breakfast room will be made available to you so you can enjoy your meal from noon to 10 p.m.
  • Can we bring our pets?
    Although we are very fond of our pet friends, they are not allowed in the hotel.
  • Do you have valet parking?
    Unfortunately, our structure is not, for the time being, designed to offer such a service.
  • Do you have a Business Center?
    No, the hotel does not have a Business Center.

    Yes, an elevator stops at every floor.
  • Can you book us a taxi for the airport?
    Yes, of course, but it is better you order it the day before.
  • We are arriving by plane/train: can you transfer us to your hotel?

  • How many rooms are there in the hotel?
    We have 43 rooms distributed as follows: - 19 rooms with shared sanitary facilities (shower room + wc) 5, 7, 8, 12, 15, 16, 18, 21, 23, 24, 26, 29, 31, 32, 34, 37, 39, 40, 45, 46, 47 and 48 - 24 rooms with private bathroom (shower room + wc) 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 14, 19, 20, 27, 28, 35, 36, 42, 43 and 44
  • Do you have rooms for smokers?
    Smoking and vaping are forbidden throughout the entire establishment. The rooms conform to French laws: the fire safety system detects the slightest smoke and sets off the alarm. In that case, the guest to blame will be made to pay 250 euros and will be immediately evicted from the hotel without being entitled to claim compensation.
  • Do the rooms have a phone?
    Yes, there is a phone in every room, you will be able to make and receive calls.
  • How much does a phone call cost?
    All calls are charged based on the recipient.
  • Is a wake-up call possible?
    Yes, we can arrange a wake-up call at any time you wish.
  • Can I have a meal delivered to the hotel?

In rooms featuring a shared shower and toilet in the corridor, we provide a large towel and a small bar of soap. 20 ml shampoo/shower gel pods are available at reception for 1 euro/piece.
  • Who cleans the room? When is the cleaning done?
    Housekeeping oversees cleaning your room daily between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., except on Sunday and public holidays when it is done from 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Do the rooms have a television?
    No.
  • Are the rooms air-conditioned?
    No.
  • Do the rooms have a coffee machine or a kettle?
    The rooms do not offer this service.
  • Is there a laundry service inside the establishment?
    We leave an iron at your disposal. If you wish to wash your clothes, the nearest dry cleaner’s is at 6 avenue des Gobelins (closed on Sunday). You also have a laundromat located at 7 Boulevard Arago (open 7/7 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
  • Is your hotel adapted for disabled people?
    Our hotel offers two rooms adapted for disabled people. Please contact us to check their availability.
  • Do you have adjoining rooms?
    No.
  • What is the minimum age required to book a room?
    Any room must be occupied by at least one resident aged 18+. Children must not be left alone. The accompanying adult must be a parent or legal guardian (documentary proof must be shown).
  • If I am travelling with a child, can I request a crib?
    No, there are no baby cribs at the hotel. Due the Police Prefecture and the insurance company’s safety regulations, a child or baby, whatever its age, is regarded as a person in its own right.

    No. A microwave will however be at your disposal.

    Yes, free wireless (Wi-Fi) Internet access is available throughout the entire hotel (rooms, shared areas, lounges, breakfast room). We remind you that we are obliged to log data for traceability purposes and that we will give the authorities any information they require if a criminal connection is made.
  • Can I log into the Internet from my room?
    Yes, all our rooms offer a free Wi-Fi connection, you will be able to enjoy a broadband experience. Instructions will be provided when you arrive.

    No, there is no computer or tablet at your disposal. The nearest Internet café is located at 81 Boulevard Saint Michel.
  • What does breakfast consist in?
    When you wake up, Hotel Port Royal’s breakfast room is there to welcome you. Start the day smoothly around a continental breakfast served as an all-you-can-eat buffet from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. (the room closes at 10 a.m.). We offer you a buffet featuring: coffee, cappuccino, several varieties of tea, milk, chocolate, orange juice and apple juice, a choice of cereal, traditional baguette, pastries, jams, unsalted butter, spreads, yoghurts.
  • Early riser or late riser, at what time can I have my breakfast?
    From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. (the room closes at 10 a.m.), by simply requesting it from our receptionists, access the breakfast room and enjoy our delicious pastries, as beautiful as they are moreish.
